WHAT IS Shellac™ ?

The patent-pending formulation of solvents, monomers and polymers is why Shellac™ goes on like polish, wears like gel and removes in minutes.  Plus it's hypo-allergenic and 3-FREE... containing no formaldehyde, toluene or DBP.

The product is thin and strong enough to be applied similarly to nail polish, but is cured to give great flexibility and durability and an incredible wet look shine that lasts until removal.

Like any quality polish application, the Shellac system features a Base Coat, Colour Coat and Top Coat.  Together with a UV Lamp, they comprise the breakthrough in resilient colour that remains flawless for two weeks and removes in 10 minutes.

HOW IS Shellac APPLIED?

STEP 1 : SHELLAC UV BASE COAT

One thin layer of UV Base Coat is all you need. It cures in just 10 seconds and provides the crucial foundation for the Shellac system.

STEP 2 : SHELLAC UV COLOUR COAT

A UV-cured colour coat featuring UV3 technology which goes on like polish and wears like gel.  Two coats are brushed on for smooth, even coverage and cured for 2 minutes, providing a long-lasting colour layer to nails.

STEP 3 : SHELLAC UV TOP COAT

A single layer of UV Top Coat, cured for 2 minutes, provides the durable, final coat and sealing the application with a mirror-like finish for 14-day wear.

FAQ’s

Can I wear Shellac ?

Shellac is suitable for all but specifically geared to those with natural nails as it does not damage or weaken the nail bed.

Is Shellac harmful to the natural nail ?

No.  Shellac does not include Formaldehyde, Toluene or DBP (Dibutyl Phthalate).

How long does it take to do ?

For a mani or pedi, with bare nails, it will take an hour.  Where a removal is required allow for an hour and a half.  For a combined mani and pedi you’ll need to allow 2-3 hours depending on whether a removal is required.

Can you fill/touch up Shellac instead of removing and re-applying?

No, Shellac is designed to be fully removed and freshly applied.

Will Shellac last longer than 14 days ?

Yes.  However it will show growth after 14 days.  Removal will take a bit longer as adhesion will increase the longer Shellac is worn

Can I remove it myself ?

No, it must be professionally removed - you will damage your natural nail if you peel it off and normal polish remover will not work.

What colours are available ?
